For the fifth year, Ad Age invited young creatives from around the world to design the cover of their issue that is distributed at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Their brief was to illustrate "the meaning of creativity in 2014." I chose the historic selfie snapped by Ellen De Generes at the 2014 Academy awards as the concept. This marketing gimmick by Samsung phones in collaboration with twitter went on to become the most viral moments of all time.
